Help cannot set up sync to gmail calendar

Having set up gmail for calendar and imported my Outlook via iCal file, I find there is no ooption to sync gmail calendar on the phone?
Its got gmail contacts and email listed but no sign of calendar. Same email address listed on google and phone, so what's the problem likely to be?

under 'add calendars' only pc sync shows up
