Hi Newbie,
Just recently gold carded my TMob Hero (G2) to generic android 2.1 from HTC website.
now i cannot stop the phone syncing with my google contacts, have disabled auto sync and even background data, but the sync symbol keeps reappearing and when i go to settings-accounts&sync-google(under manage accounts) the sync contacts symbol is spinning. mail and calender do not seem to be affected.
How can i stop the voluntary sync?
Mucho frustration as i have searched far and wide for the solution, even scoured my @gmail account for sync settings.
