Help Cannot stop music?

I am using the stock Music Player app that came with my Galaxy Ace 2. I have noticed that I can start playing a song and as soon as it starts basically the only possibility is to PAUSE the music. There is no STOP soft button in the player!

I exited the app and came back to it and it was still showing my song as "PAUSED". Had to turn the device off.

Although I have never used the samsung music app, my understanding is that most mobile apps (apart from ones like pandora that stream) do not have a stop button, only a pause button, the intent being to put you at the same place next time you go back to the app. Hoping someone with experience with samsung shows up soon though.

Hi degt. It seems a bit freaky but that is the way of the players. It's designed to pick up exactly where you left off. Do not fret, the player is not using any more resources when you exit the app than it uses when you boot your phone.
