So when I installed HTC Sync on my XP home netbook, it told me to disable my antivirus program(Bit Defender 2009). So I did and Sync installed fine.
When I plug my phone in and hit "sync", the original installer for Bitdefender starts to run. wtf?
Then I get a message that says I don't have permission to install this program (my guess is because it's already installed).
Why the heck would syncing cause my PC Antivirus installer app to start??
I really want to avoid having to uninstall my AV program just to sync my phone.
