Help Cannot Sync with Google

hi everyone,

i want SIMPLY sync my contacts with gmail account

in Accounts & Sync > google i added my account information and it's correct and it sync the tasks for example

when i press "Sync contacts" i makes nothing and i keep having the last date sync is very old ...

now also noticed something ... when i opened the phone i did sync with yahoo account ... so i got the contacts from yahoo to phone ... i add couple of new contacts ... after full sync the new contacts goes to google instead of yahoo !!


any clues !!!
 
Could it be that before now you haven't sync'd with google for a while? Have a look in you gmail account on a pc, whatever's there in your contacts is what you'll get sent to your phone when syncing.

Google would appear to be what your contacts are linked to, so by default it will sync with google.
 
i got the issue ... the contact is saved in phone account ... it should be saved in google account ...

but why this happens ... i mean i should be able to control where to save the contacts or at lease set that from begining



really confusing
