Help Cannot take out battery LG GT540

Hello everyone! I am new here.

I just received my GT540, and I inserted the battery, charged it, and wanted to put in my SIM card but I really can't take it out!

I know theres a little opening for me to put my fingernail at the top left, but it wont come out. Does anyone know what else I can do? Its not that I'm weak either though lol.

Put your fingernail where you did, press down while pulling out...

I ended up using a small flathead (before your post), and it came out. Thank you anyways!

I had the exact same problem. Use a 1p coin (uk) for a few tries to loosen it up but watch whatever you use does not slip and hit the camera lens.
