Help cannot transfer music!

Ricketish

Lurker
i purchashed a used admire from ebay, and everything seems to function well except transferring media from my pc to my cell. i also noticed that i didnt have a music app folder, so i did a factory reset and still no folder. i downloaded the winamp app and tried syncing some of my music from there with no luck. each time it was finish syncing, i removed my usb then checked my winamp app to only find i have 0 songs. i even tried placing some of the music into random folders, but yes you guessed it, nothing i dragged and dropped into those folders were there. please help. i need music!

synced with windows media player and it automatically created a music folder, though when i unplugged usb and checked my apps and folders in the file folder the music folder is not listed anywhere.

i really do feel like it has something to do with usb being put in and then ejected that erases any new info. for instances, i made a new folder in the 'my files' while unplugged-in hopes that i would see the new folder once i did plug the usb into my computer, but the new folder was not there on the computer and was no longer there on my phone when i removed the usb.
pretty please guys i would really like input on what could be wrong and what i should do! (bump)

Create a folder on your sd card, call it music. Put your music files in it. Go to the stock music player and open it up. Tap albums, and your music folder should be there with your music in it.

You can use the free app "Rescan SD Card" from the market to mount and unmount SD card to update the stuff you added, without having to plug the chord into the computer.

I noticed that I could only transfer music with Windows 7. One of my computers with Windows XP on it wouldn't read the phone when I plugged it in.

each time i plug the usb in or out it erases anything i put in the phone. when i created the music folder on the sd card as soon as i unplugged my phone from the computer, i took a look at 'my files' and its gone, nothing is there.
