Help Can't access any websites

Hi,

Since early this evening, I've been having problems accessing the web on my HTC Desire. Every website I try to access throws up an error 403: Forbidden. Google, these forums, the BBC site, Amazon, Facebook - everything.

There doesn't appear to be a network problem because other aps which use data are working fine, and my wife has no probs on her Wildfire (also on Virgin).

I've tried restarting the browser and the phone, and clearing out the cache, browsing history, and all data through "Manage Applications" to no avail.

Can anyone help (please)?

Just tried switching to wi-fi and can access websites OK, so it does point to a problem with the mobile web side of things, but no-one else seems to be reporting any issues.

Check the APN settings in Settings-Wireless&Networks-Mobile Networks-Access Point Names. Click on your provider Internet name to see the details. Then compare it with that of your operator.

Thanks. Looks like it was a network issue because all is working this morning. Not sure why it didn't affect my wife who is with the same provider.

Did your problem get solved permanently? Cause I've had this now for a couple of weeks and everything I've read on the net seems to point to this being Virgin's fault and I'm thinking it's time to jump ship.
