Help Can't access EPST

Ever since getting my Incredible last year, I've never been able to access EPST. When I dial ##778 or ##7764726 it just freezes the dialer until I hit the home or back button. Nothing pops up, no matter how long I wait. I've never used Call Confirm, which is the major reason I've seen as to why people can't access it. Currently I'm rooted using the 2.3.4.08.605.2 build released last week. Any ideas as to what could be causing the problem?

I believe there is an app or utility that will launch EPST. I'm sorry i can't recall its name. Try that if you can find it.

It's called CDMA Workshop, it's for your computer.

I downloaded and ran CDMA workshop, but can't get it to recognize my phone. I don't have HTC Sync installed; I just use it as a disk drive. I didn't check all 1000 COM ports, but I can't find a way to detect which COM port it is connected to. Any tips?

I personally haven't used it, so i don't know much about it, but i assume you need the correct drivers installed.
