Root Can't add Google account.

So I rooted my Android phone and removed all the bloatware and some stock apps i.e. camera, video player and music player and now I can't add my Google account to get into Android Market/Google Play. I've tried to add an account but I've got a choice of Microsoft Exchange or PC Sync but no Google. Has anybody got any ideas?

Just read this thread by now. Therefore reply maybe too late but for other users with same issue as i had same issue, here is the solution: You probably deactivated/deleted App "Google Account Manager". Just activate it and voila, Google account can be added as expected. Hope that helps (at least other users).

I checked Google Account Manager from Settings/Apps, and I see it is enabled but it looks like not working or inactive, how I can solve this problem?

I can enable/disable Google Account Manager, but no effect on the problem. Also, the storage for this app is zero.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
