can't answer calls when using headphones through adapter

I use a usb to 3.5mm adapter, but when I tried to answer calls, caller can't hear me whilst I speak on the phone microphone. Any solution to that? Maybe an adapter with a microphone?

The problem is probably with your adapter not being wired to handle the Stock Headset/Microphone Combo ....

Don't use an adapter then, it wasn't made to distinguish the MIC pin. Kind of common sense... if the adapter doesn't work, don't use it.

AFAIK the usb to 3.5mm adapter is only meant for headset without microphone i.e. music etc.

You will need a usb headset with built in microphone.
