Cant boot into recovery

[infantryboy56]

I am unable to boot my Sprint HTC hero into recovery mode. When I do it has a triangle with an exclamation point. I have to take the battery out to reset it. The phone is rooted and I am trying to get a new ROM. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks

I had that problem. I had to download Titanium Backup from the the market, then update the BusyBox. After that I used Clockwork Recovery from Rom Manger. It took me a few tries to get the recovery img to work, but it did eventually. Now I'm fully rooted and contemplating which Rom I would like to flash. Hope this helps. ; )

I would also like to add that I used the Universal Androot method to root. I don't know if that makes a difference.
