Root can't boot using new sdcard

i have upgraded my sdcard to 8gb but the phone just won't boot. it only boots up to the white SE logo. maybe it is because of the app2sd that i have installed. am i right? what should i do?

uninstall app2sd
partition your phone
install app2sd again
