Can't Bump my Wife

So, now that the wife has gotten with the program and joined the Android world, I thought "gee, wouldn't it be nice if we could share data". She wasn't interested, but I figured I could sweet talk her into it. I found Bump and installed it on her Eris and my Incredible.

When we Bump (well, actually she's not gotten involved - so far I am bumping myself), her Eris sits at "Connecting... Establishing Secure Link...". My Incredible immediately goes to "Please Bump Again... No match. Please try again".

Any thoughts? It's so embarassing... And my knuckles are starting to hurt :(.
 
Ok that's the best and worst thread title ever! Ok now that I read the post I'm curious I've never tried using my knuckles ( I apologize for not having any relevant info on the problem, well none I will post here anyway.)
 
Oh lawdy! I hate to post and not really contribute to the OP, but I could NOT read that whole first post without literally LOL'ing...

I can't bump my husband either. He has a stupid blackberry. I can bump my neighbor with the iPhone. Makes me feel dirty.
 
I bumped my wife once about a month ago and she thought it was stupid and didn't want to bump anymore.. Now I can still bump, but I have to bump myself all the time.
 
Thanks all - I haven't worked up the nerve to ask anyone else for a bump, but that is a good next step.
