Help Can't charge from zero in the car - keeps resetting.. why?

If my phone is completely dead and I charge from an outlet in the house, it shows a battery and I turn it on manually once it has enough power. However, if it is dead and I plug it in in the car, as soon as it has enough power to start... it does...all by itself. However, it uses so much power to start up, that it dies and the process repeats itself.

THis means that if the phone runs out of juice in the car, I can't get it charged at all. Isn't there some way to keep it off until the battery makes it up to say 5% or so it won't die?

In settings on your skyrocket under the Power saving mode section do you have 'use power saving mode' checked? or not checked?

If you do have it checked turn it off. I'm not sure if this will fix it but try it at least and let me know.
