Help can't clear failed download [Resolved: clear cache and data]

I have a failed download from facebook on my Ltevo that i cannot clear. The download Icon will not leave the top bar. Its kinda driving me crazy. If anybody has any ideas it sure would make me happy.

Tried you to clear the Download app's data and cache in Settings, Apps ... ?

Does it show up as a line item when you pull down notifications? You can slide it to the right if so.

Yes it does, but I can't get it to slide off. It just bounces back. I have tried it fast slow and in between.

Oh, I hate those, voicemail does that.

Sounds like Harry's suggestion is better. Maybe start with cache and see if that clears it.

That worked thanks. Only clearing the cache didn't work though. I had to clear the data as well.

also just wanted to add... If you go right to your built in task manager and kill Facebook it takes the notification off.. I have this issue too from time to time
