Help Can't connect Optimus T to PC

I bought the LG Optimus T a few days ago and am just now trying to connect it to my PC to add music, transfer pictures, etc.

When I plugged the phone in, it began to charge but no USB icon showed in the upper left corner and it's not read as a new drive on the computer. Through some searching, I found that I would possible have to install drivers. I did so first through the LG Updater, then the LG Forums Resources tab with the files directly downloaded. I downloaded and installed the drivers and still no difference. We have tried doing this on a separate computer to the same result.

I'm using other USB devices so I know the ports are all fine.

Any help ASAP would definitely be appreciated.

I was having the same issue. You have to plug it in and then press the menu button, then go to SD card & Phone Storage, then tap on Mass storage only (only way I could get mine to work). look down the page if you see "Mount SD Card" then press it...You may need to unplug ur phone. When you plug it back in it may pop up with a different screen that tells you turn on mass storage.
