cant connect to pc no drivers?

Hi everyone
nebie here so i would like to say hi to all
I have a epad with 2.1 android
I cannot seem to ba able to download any apps. As soon as an apps starts to download the message comes up "download detected" but then it just stops.
Now when I connect to the PC there are no drivers.
My PC is vista and is requesting for "android eclaire" driver but Ijust cant seem to be able to find it anywhere.
The company I bought the epad from are of no help.
I still have guarantee and they told me to do factory reset but i need to connect to pc but when i do then my pc cannot detect it!!!
My epad bleeps when I connect the cable and so does my pc but without the driver i cannot go any further. Cant seem to be able to find any drivers even when searching google for 'android eclaire drivers' even when using google chrome.
please someone help before i smash it up.
It is a good model, it had HDMI output etc etc

Vista shouldn't need any drivers at all. And if the company is telling you they don't have any drivers, honestly I would just take the damn thing back. You will never get above android 2.1 with that, meaning you will never have flash.

It was workig fine until recently.
Apps simply wouold not download.
how can i reset to factory settings?
When i go through the menu and select factory reset it tells me to plug in usb host or something like that but when i do then my pc does not detect it. But my epad says something like USB DEBUGGING CONNECTED.
It detects INTERNAL USB storage.
I am using the USB cable provided which has normal USB connector into the PC but a mini usb for the epad.
The epad does have a USB port.
Do you think i need normal usb to usb cable rather than mini usb to usb??
