Can't create album

I can't seem to create a photo album on my Atrix2.

I've tried making a folder with pics in it, and putting it in /mnt/sdcard, /mnt/sdcard/DCIM, /mnt/sdcard/Albums, etc, and i just cannot get the folder to show up as an album in "My Gallery." No matter what, My Gallery only shows 2 albums: "All Videos" & "All Photos." I can't seem to create photo albums at all..

I used the Galley app for the first month or so and became a bit unsatisfied with how it all worked. After trying out several different alternatives, I currently use an app called Quickpic. Love it.

installed quickpic.. great app! everything works as it should.. as the market description states, "replaces the lazy stock gallery app.." yep.

Cool. Glad I could recommend something that works for you. Don't ya just love how it automatically creates the proper folders for you? The settings/options are nice too.

Yes, and it integrates properly with other apps/settings, like changing wallpaper and such.. and it's free. Thanks again for the ref.. =)
