Help Can't customize honeycomb taskbar apps! Help

Hey you guys, i have just gotten a Galaxy tab 10.1 with android honeycomb 3.0.

On the middle of the bottom taskbar, there is an arrow pointing up. If i push it, 6 apps appear.
I cant find out what so ever how to customize this bar, change the 6 apps.

Help apriciated!

Those are the 6 apps Samsung thinks you might need. You can't change them.

Presently those are uneditable.

Fyi- that feature is a part of Samsung's Touchwiz interface. Meaning other honeycomb tablets don't even have that feature. Except for the world clock, I personally wouldn't change the available apps.

The stock honeycomb calander and email tabs were much more useful for business. Making the home page look like an IPAD screen probably didn't help with Apple deciding to sue. Worse, it was better off stock for my use. anyone know if the update can be deleted?

If you don't like them, don't click the up-arrow to access the Quick Panel. Simple as that. I don't like it either but it's not in my way so I simply don't click the arrow to access it.

I like the changes and I applaud Samsung for improving on the dark ominous look of stock Honeycomb. I also like the additional applications, control pop up and quick app tray. Don't worry though, this will all change with ICS I'm sure.

Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich as it is known. It combines 2.3 (phone) and 3.0 (tablet) into one operating system for all devices.

I know this post is old but I just got my galaxy and having same problem. I tried searching online but still no help.

someone replied, "well don't use that feature"...not trying to start problem, but that really is not a solution. I'm smart enough to figure out not to open it...the problem is that Samsung did such an amazing job at making this "customizable"...that I expected to have that same freedom with the taskbar.

Why samsung would think I need a "world clock" locked...goes against everything they created. Bottom line, its just very annoying. I would much rather put apps I use alot, gmail, settings, etc.

As I mentioned, I had searched for solutions to this problem but found only this. So if anyone knows of a update or fix....please...please let me know.

There is no update or fix for this.

Good luck getting rid of it. I'm running an alternate launcher and it's still there (though I like it).
