Can't decide which tablet to get.

My options are the Note 8.0., Tegra Note 7, and the LG G Pad. I've heard good things about all, 2 of them have a stylus, which as the owner of a Note 2 I love, and they all can take a micro SD card-which I have several, for extra storage. But hell if I can decide. :(

I can confuse you but you asking about them there is a new tablet called a lenovo got some good features with them

Out of the two I would choice between the Tegra Note 7 and the LG G Pad.

Tegra Note 7 is using the underrated Tegra 4 SoC which is faster than the other devices by quite a lot and has a stylus and stereo speakers, but the the 1280*800 resolution is disappointing for a tablet but it's still a decent IPS display. Gaming on this tablet will be a great experience though and far superior to the other devices if that interests you.

The LG G Pad is less powerful but has a 1920*1200 display, stereo speakers and it's slightly larger, but no stylus.

The Note 8.0 kinda sucks, older less powerful SoC and a 1280*800 display, not much going for it other than a stylus.

I guess I just lean towards the Note 8 cause I love my Note 2. I dunno, I'm just looking at tablets that I can expand storage on, and are within my current budget.

why haven't you considered the new line of Note tablets? the Note 10.1 2014 edition is very nice.

the Note 8 is so old now they don't even carry it here anymore.

seriously? because my Note 10.1 2014 has had KitKat for weeks. not rooted, not a custom ROM either. it got the OTA a month ago.

Because I dont have several hundred dollars to drop? I can get these from good sellers on say swappa or ebay for 2 hundred or so tops. Thats the main reason.

If the lenovo you deal direct from site and they give discounts and have refurbished and scratch and dent . and if you don't like but want a new one just check tiger direct they have refurbished and they have scratch and dent also

Also, I'm looking at the Note 10.1 too, since I've found some dealers on swappa, so, anyone else wanna toss their thoughts on that one into the ring? Hey, if the stuff I watch looks as good as when I'm watching my Note 2 is fine by me.

Anyone else want to offer thoughts? I'd like to make up my mind come Sunday while I still know of at least one deal on the LG Pad 8.3 if I decide to get that one.

well headed to best buy this weekend to look at the tab s.....might even upgrade it this week.

I really like the Tab S, I was playing with one the other day and almost bought it right there, but then realised the only version they have is 16GB which isn't enough for apps. :(

well it is enough for most apps, except for music and movies.....at least for me.

plus i have a few 32g cards i can always use.

Obviously it depends on how you use it, but I have 32GB Nexus 7 and that usually only has around 4GB free for downloads and media, my Galaxy S4 has 16GB but I use foldermount to move large apps and games onto a 64GB sdcard.

The G Pad is a solid choice. The software is a little overwhelming, but a lot of it can be disabled. The only "issue" (to me anyway) that I'd be thinking of is, you have a Note 2 and the G Pad isn't THAT much bigger. I use my Nexus 7 just for reading books/magazines and don't see a whole lot of utility I'd get out of a screen that small. But, if it works for you and you got a good deal on it, go for it!

Well, I'm also thinking about the Note 10.1, both versions, though the 2014 used is more of a stretch on my wallet. Anyone use the original 10.1? I've been told it runs like the Note 2, which if is so, then I doubt I'll have any problems with that.

Problem is every 2014 Note 10.1 is refurbished, and at least 300 bucks. :( I can get a good quality 2012 10.1 with case and screen for under 200. I just want to know if the picture on it is as good roughly as my Note 2. If so, thats what I'll lean towards.

i have no idea, but a quick search shows the pixel density of the 10 at 149. the note 2 is 267.

i know every one is different, but for me a 10 inch tablet is pretty much good for nothing. i mean to watch a movie it's fine, but if you want to interact with it, you better have some gorilla arms. 10" is good for pdf though.

i'd go with the LG myself.
