Can't delete backups

In my gallery, I have 4 folders that say "Picasa auto backup". I have never tried to use such a thing and don't want it. They are from 3 phones ago.

I've tried clearing the data and cache for the gallery but after they disappear, they later come back.

I can't find anything else in settings to stop this. Ideas?

Try going to Settings-Accounts-Google, tap on your Google account, and unselect picasa from there. (may be listed as google+ now)

Thank you! I didn't even know that was in there. It fixed my problem. I wonder how I even had that thing started in the first place.
