Help Can't delete emails....

Sometimes, I get an email that I cannot delete. I press menu, delete, and then I can't check off the box next to the email I want to delete. I have even gone on my PC to delete and its still on the phone. Its happened before and the only way to get rid of the email is to actually delete the entire account and then set it up all over again, but in the mean time, I loose all other emails I wanted to save. Anyone know how to fix?

Are you using the gmail app or the email app? You might want to clear the cache and data:

Home > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Filter > All > Gmail Storage or Mail> Clear data

Go back, Gmail or Mail> Clear cache

Then reboot and it should work.
