Help Can't delete Handcent

[sorbet]

Handcent has been trying to update itself in my market for the past month now, and whenever I try to "cancel download" it force closes the entire market.

Any ideas how to get it off my phone?? It doesn't give me an option to delete in market, only "cancel download"
