Can't download apps

Mel Marx

Lurker
I have just bought a Galaxy Tab, and today I tried downloading a free version of SKYPE via Download Skype for your mobile and the site diverted me to https://market.android.com. I was logged onto my Gmail account, the same email address i used in syncing and registering my phone tablet. But when i try to click "Install" the website always returned an error "There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account." This is true for any of the apps I try to download in the page.

Twice i reset the phone to factory settings and re-entered the same Gmail address i have (i only have one) but i keep getting the same error.

Help, anyone, please? Thanks in advance.

Hi!

I found this on an other forum:

found a solution that worked for me.
Logged into google account.
clicked on my account
clicked on recovering password
entered password (to validate it was me)
uner the sms section
clicked edit
removed my phone number
saved
signed out of google
signed back in
entered phone number when prompted
logged out
went to market.google.com
logged in
and my phone now appeared 2/5/11

Hope it helps! :)
