Root Can't Download files to BBv0.4!!

So i'm running BBv0.4 and it keeps saying "phone does not support" when i try and download themes, stopota.zip, and some others. What am i doing wrong? Do i need to do it through a PC, a file manager, or something else? Other than this the rom seems to be running great! i just can't download somethings so i'm thinking i'm missing some point or something.

Are you using the stock browser? If so, that's a very common issue. I always use DolphinHD for downloads and I've never had an error message.

Swithched to dolphin and it works!!! thanks for the knowledge, sure does seem like dolphin drains the battery though! But hey, if i can do things thats better

Also try Download Crutch. Old program, still works. It just operates invisibly, you'll never know it's there, but it allows the stock browser to download any file. I don't think it's on the market anymore. PM me if you want the APK.
