Help Can't find drivers to connect Xoom to PC

I've tried everything ....
USB debuggin is on
updated motorola drivers and still doesnt recognizes the Xoom
running windows 7 Ultimate SP1
any suggestions?

I'm having a similar problem - most times when I connect there is an error message "USB charging is not supported" from the Xoom and "USB device not recognized" from the PC - even after reinstalling the drivers.

Intermittently it will recognize the Xoom and load the driver correctly.

edit: In the end I found it was a faulty USB port - by jiggling the cable I was able to maintain the connection for differing periods of time.

I had similar problem too. Install driver from motorola and still had the same problem.

How I got it to work was uninstall all the usb root hub in "device manager" and let windows rescan it.

It started connecting after that.

Let me know if this help anybody.

The Xoom does not support USB charging full stop so this the first error message you got is to be expected. Unlike the iPad, the Xoom will not trickle charge over USB (a big flaw in my view - I hate the tiny little charger plug on the Xoom).

I had always thought that all USB cables were the same but bpark42 is correct. I bought a couple of USB cables on eBay for almost nothing and I found out why. They worked fine on some devices but just wouldn't work at all on others.
