I recently purchased a brand new HTC Desire Z from eBay, Its an excellent phone and apparently one of the first in Australia (Hence i HTC Australia is giving no support in this issue what so ever!)
Simply.. I cant seem to get 3G reception (i think) The phone will have reception in certain places (like at home in Kununurra for instance) but i work out of town on a minesite every 2 weeks.
When at work at the mine i have to revert to my old HTC TyTn as the HTC Desire Z does not get any reception out here? (however it does in town???)
Could this be a matter of the Desire Z not supporting the latest 3G networks? I have tried different APN's and GSM/WCDMA settings..
Could it be a matter of a firmware upgrade?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
