Help Can't find new update?

Hi

I notice that there is a new software update available for my desire HD. However, when I go into system software updates and hit check now it just displays a 'checking...' message and nothing happens...anyone else had this problem?

Any ideas on how to get the update?

That's weird... what's your FW number? And where did you got your handset from?

Got my phone from tmobile on oct 19 th. The fw is 1.32.405.3

I have the same problem with my desire! Checking never stops and i cant get any new update!

You got me excited then, thought 2.3 had arrived.
Latest update is x.xx.xxx.6, released a month or so ago.

Try checking with wifi & cell data.
Also, being T-mobile, they might have to do their own update, which they might not of bothered too... yet. (ie your phone has a FW number that goes to a T-mobile server, & not a HTC server)

I have the same problem with my desire,i have froyo and there is a update out for orange.my sw number is 2.17.61.2 and the update is 2.23.351.3.my friend updated his orange desire last week straight away and all i get it checking
did you solve the problem or did it update after a while?
