Help Can't find Voice recordings

I am unable to locate voice recordings on my Galaxy S3. I have connected the phone via usb to my pc and searched every folder on the phone and on the sd card and there is no sign of them .. They are still there because I can play them back on the phone and have downloaded nastro manager and cvan locate them in that by lookin in my files sd card 0 and then sound ... But none of this appears when I look at the device on the PC. Pretty desperate as I did an emergency recording of my grandson & teacher playing sax for his GCSE coursework (he had forgotten his recorder.) Help please
 
Make sure when you connect to your PC, you are connected with MTP (MEDIA transfer protocol) because PTP (PHOTO transfer protocol) can only see images.

But you are correct, /sdcard/Sounds is where they are.
 
Sorry if I was in the wrong area folks - new around here ! Your quick responses have however put me on the right track and the problem is solved (Phew !) Very many thanks for your help, I am most grateful
