Root Can't find which GSM version do I have

Misios

Lurker
Hi,
I have HTC Wildfire S, branded by T-Mobile for 1 year now. Its memory capacity annoys me, so I have to install Data2SD. Before that I have to root of course.

I read there the method for root, but first I have to find which version of phone do I have (a510a/b/e). Tried reading on stickers under the battery - no success, tried power + volume down mode - no luck, there is only:
Marvel PVT Ship S-ON RL
Hboot - 1.03
microp-0541
radio-7.47xx...
and manufacture date

So, how can I check this info?

Is possible to S-off the phone with ACS HTC Super Tool v3? I'm trying to avoid htcdev without xtc clip.

Hi,
Go to 'Settings' scroll down, then select 'About Phone' and select ' Phone Identity'. There you can see about all your device details.

For rooting, you really don't need to ' S-off'. Just refer the Sticky to root and follow as in the guide.

You can also nstall Link2sd to make more internal memory after rooted.
