Help Cant get a music ringtone since 2.2

What folder directory did you place your audio files? And are you using a third party app to get these files, or extracting them from your computer then moving them to your phone?

I am using the stock app to select ringtones.
I placed the music on there many months ago, and even factory resets still leave the music on there...
its under the phones memory:
/EMCC/MP3/musicfile.mp3

I see the file for ringtones on the phone, but before 2.2 I never had to put the song in that directory. Is that now changed?

The "facebook pop" file i DO SEE is under:
SD Card/Media/audio/notifications

Not sure if that EMMC directory would work since I've never used of it, however if you place your audio files in the 2nd one, it should work.

sdcard/media/audio/ringtones

Then go to settings, and go through your ringtones, and it should be there.

I had mine in a folder called ringtones on the SD card & had the same issue after I did the upgrade. I found a new folder on the SD card under media/audio/notifications. I put the ringtone I wanted in there & now it shows up under the list of ringtones.
