Can't get Chrome browser on my Tab3 wifi?

I got the wifi only tablet free from my service provider, with jelly bean installed. How come there's no chrome browser. I can't find it either on playstore.

Check the Android version. Chrome wasn't available until later versions.

Sorry. I was mistaken. The OS is version 2.2.1 (Froyo). It's a GT-P1010, a new old stock which is probably why they just gave it away. Is this OS upgradable?

Yeah that's not the tab 3 that's the tab 1. It can only be upgraded to gingerbread and even then you won't be able to install chrome since it's only compatible with 4.0 and above.
