I started with a Nook Color with 1.2 firmware. I manual nooted with manualnooter 4-6-16 and it worked. I found the info on this site and thought CM7 might be better.
Well, I tried to get CM7 on my nook and it isn't booting all the way up. I formatted a 1G micro SD, used win32diskimager to write 1gb_clockwork-3.0.2.8.img to it. I then added the update-cm-7.0.3-encore to it as a zip file. I also copied gapps-gb-20110613 to it as a zip. I booted off the card. I went through the menus as directed in the post from this site. it said successfully intalled. When I reboot I get a read forever screen followed by "android" in tiny blue letters. Then nook color spells out and goes to a screen that has N Color with colors scrolling through the word "color". There it sits, all night last night. Any ideas?
I used these instructions:

Update:
I've been pouring over this all morning. Some posts suggest there is something unique about the 1.2 partitioning and that formatting data may help. I repeated the install and this time reformatted data in addition to "system" and "cache". It now seems to be running!
