Root Can't get contacts to link to Google or Facebook...

I've tried everything. I used to be able to link my contacts to facebook but now I cant. I click the button to "add account" and then choose Facebook and it does nothing... Do I have a setting turned off or something...

Do you have the Facebook app installed on the SD card by chance? If so, it will do that and you'll have to go into Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > All > Facebook > Move to phone.

ok... I had to flash the phone completely to get it to reset to the beginning where you log in to google for the first time. That seemed to work but it still doesn't show their profile pictures in my contacts like it used to... any ideas?

Open your Facebook app, if it's your first time opening it, it should automatically pop up the option to sync contacts. It'll give you options: All, Existing, None.

Otherwise, if it doesn't automatically give you the option, press Menu -> Settings, and at the very bottom, you will see the option.
