Help Can't get default calendar to synch with Gmail

[Malachite]

New to Android and Gmail but I can't seem to get the calendar in Gmail to synch with the calendar on the SGS2.
Can this be done?
I would like to be able to synch both ways.

[Teknik]

I would like to be able to synch both ways.

In calendar, goto menu - settings - calendar and ensure your gmail calendar is ticked.
Also ensure it is set to sync under accounts and sync in the main phone settings.
