Help Can't get into recovery after jb update

Worked like a charm for me, unfortunately my phone is no better after clearing the cache and doing a factory reset. Nonetheless, the method worked perfectly.

This method works 100 percent for me every time..thanks a lot.

Since the update, I can't seem to get to the recovery to clear my cache. I reset the phone with power and volume up. Get the menu, press volume down to select recovery. Press volume up to select recovery. The phone begins to boot with the red motorola sign but all i end up with is the android on its back with an exclamation sign on its stomach. What's going on? Help me. Please?

Try a factory refresh....I spent an hour on the phone to Motorola tech support about another problem since my idiocy in updating to Jelly Bean and in futzing with the phone, they discovered I had the same problem. The fix was a factory reset...I say fix because I only did it yesterday and as of today all seems to be working more or less right but I have to say that this 'upgrade' has been as bad as the one from XP to Vista a few years ago. I have seen no improvement and a lot of issues.
