Root Cant get into recovery

im trying to install flash. Im running jrummy 1.0 with a 1mhz p3 kernal, I am using rom manager and when it tries to reboot into recovery it just hangs at the M screen. i have to pull the battery then i try to reboot into sprecovery using x and power button but i get the same thing. I flash sprecovery through rom manager but i cant go into it again then back to clockwork and same thing.

How can i get it to go back to recovery. thanks

If flashing to SPR and then back to CWR ( the latest is 2.0.1.0 currently ) isn't working... flash to one of the older CWR versions. That option is found on the bottom of the main menu.

There seems to be a lot of this happening nowadays. I've experienced it myself, twice now, when upgrading to new versions of CWM Recovery. I wonder what's going on.

ok i can get into clockwork now thanks. i flashed to .7 and into sprecovery and back to 1.0 clockwork. looks good now.
