Help Can't get m4p files to play

I finally sync'd my itunes but I can't get all of the files to play in cubed or the default player. They aren't even showing up in the players although they are in the folder on the sd card. Is there a patch or something I can do to get cubed to recognize them? Its almost half my music. Needless to say, I wont be giving apple anyof my money ever again. Thanks for any help!

Are they recent? Older iTunes songs before they changed to the 1.29 per song is DRM protected and can't be played except by itunes, although you can pay to upgrade your library and/or burn them to disc and copy them again. That's my only thought...

Not too recent. I got them at 0.99/song so I dunno...
