Help Can't get to market

When I try to open Market, I get a message to sign into Google but it won't take my password. I'm sure it's right, but then it brings up the sign in deal with the weird letters you have to type in and then takes me back to the google sign in. Then it tells me the password is wrong or the account has changed. Any ideas? I'm sure I did the password right. Is there a way to reset it? TIA!
 
I went thru that too. Has to be your Google Account password I think. I HATE those things where you have to enter the letters/numbers that are all jazzed up. Who in the hell thought that crap up? Yes, I know what it is for but it's like letting terrorists control what you do. Take hackers out and shoot them and the problem is solved.

Just a little info here. The guy that created ReCaptcha did so because one out of the two words is a scanned word from, I believe, the New York Times newspaper archive. Every time you enter a word, you are actually helping to digitally archive old newspapers. Just thought that was a neat little tidbit of useless information.

Now as for other versions of captures with multicolored numbers and and letters all stretched out, I agree it's a PITA.
 
Ok, something screwy was going on. It was prompting me for my Google password, but it had my Youtube account address as my Google address. I deleted my Youtube acct and then it reset to Google. WTF? How did that happen? Anyway, now I can get into market but guess I'll have to set up Youtube again if I want to upload any vids.
 
That is odd. Can't you use the same acct for both? You should be able to log into google.com and see if there's anything goofy with your accts.
