Cant get Words with Friends

Ok, so I have to update to 2.1 if I want the WwF. Waaaaa. I tried updating long ago and was unable to sync with my computer. (Win7) I uninstalled and reinstalled HTC Sync several times, but I couldn't get it to work.

Oh well.

Hi everyone,
I've also been having trouble finding Words With Friends. I read this page and tried to update my phone but can't do it! I know it can't be that hard but for some reason I just can't figure it out. Is there an easy way to update that I don't know about?? Thanks!!

Have u updated through your phone settings
 
I've got a Samsung Captivate. The thing that bothers me about the ads is simply their frequency. I suppose it helps that I know, for a fact, that every time I play a word I'll have to skip an ad, but I'm a product of the technology age. I shouldn't have to wait for anything. (he says sarcastically)

Really diggin' this game though. I've noticed some lag in the game where there won't be a word played by an opponent, and then all of the sudden 4 will show up from hours ago, but it's not really a big deal with the way the game is set up anyway.
 
ok. just an update. I updated my phone via the HTC website. now that I am running the latest software, I can play Words with Friends!

works great!
 
I have a SE Xperia x10 mini pro and am running android 2.1, however i still am not able to find words with friends in the android market using the icon from my phone (instead of using the browser).

Anyone facing this problem?
 
Few questions. why doesnt the game come with a menu, for instance, if i want to just add a friend, or why doesnt it ding when its my turn. Help
 
I have a dinky Dart Droid by T-mobile and I can't find word with friends anywhere for this phone. Google play tells me there is not one for this version of the phone. I don't believe it. Mine is version 2.2.2 there has got to be a download out there on the www that I can use. Please Help
