Help Can't idividually select emails in Gmail anymore?

Went to bed last night and woke up this morning and something appears to be up with my Gmail. Last night I was able to select individual emails to delete or archive, etc. But today the checkboxes do not even show up.

Also noticed that there are no longer options for when I would like the account to sync (I believe there are other threads on this issue already).

I am not on a rooted device and have tried rebooting with no luck.

Anyone else having this issue?

Haven't seen that one.

From your home screen try going into Menu > Settings > Applications, then go to the All tab and scroll down to Gmail and clear data.

If I do that it says that it will clear everything, including all accounts, so I will have to then configure my account on the device again I am assuming?

All you should have to do is sign in again, but I don't even think you will have to do that. When you re-launch Gmail you should get a screen that says to wait while your mail is synched then it should populate your email again. I don't remember having to sign in again and I know I did not have to configure my account again.

I had the exact same thing happen to be a couple weeks ago and all I did was reboot my phone and it all went back to normal.

I rebooted several times and it didn't work. But I did what ska.t73 suggested and cleared the data and it seems to be back to normal now. Thanks!
