Help Can't Import Contacts

Hey all - I recently wiped my phone and reinstalled everything. Now, I need to import my contacts that I saved to a .vcf file a while back. I'm trying to import my contacts by going to Contacts -> Menu -> Import/Export contacts, but all I see in this option is "Send namecard via", and nothing about importing (or even exporting) contacts. What am I doing wrong? Sorry for the n00b question :)
 
Figured it out...hadn't yet signed in to my google account upon initial setup of my phone..once I did that it gave me the option to import the VCF

I have linked all of my Facebook contacts with my phone contacts. Now, I have over 400 people in my contacts list that I don't want there. I managed to hide the Facebook contacts by hiding that "group" from the contacts display menu...however, when sending a new text message and going to the "add contacts" screen, I still see all 400 Facebook contacts (they are remaining hidden in the regular contacts list though). Is there a way I can hide these contacts for good? Or better yet, only sync contacts that are joined in the future? Thanks in advance!
