i hope you should be having superoneclick.. open "RUN" and type adb shell and the cmd windows will open with the adb shell running..

if u have superoneclick,

Go to superoneclick folder and there should be three files namely adb, adbwinapi.dll and adbwinusbapi.dll.. copy those three files to system32. (C:\windows\system32)

Open cmd and type adb shell directly

make sure you have unmounted the sdcard and check the spelling of your app2sd.sh file.. Is your app2sd.sh file in the sdcard directly or in some other folder in sdcard?

I have unmouted sd card by going settings>sdcard>unmount sd card .
And those files are in sd card , not in folder

Oops. you should not unmount your sdcard from settings. i think i said it wrong way. it should have been "DO NOT MOUNT"..

When you plug the usb cable, there will be three options connect phone, install pc companion and charge.. Dont click anything. click back and leave it that way.

Then Open cmd and type adb shell directly

And when you type "su", check ur phone and make sure u click "Allow" in ur phone.

Hi,
Finally got it worked. What i did differently was i didn't unmount SD card.
I formatted the sdcard to ex2 with 1GB space but why only show 188MB? After installing some apps it dropped to 175mb. How can i know if the apps is save to the phone or sdcard?
:)

Unmount is required for rootin for app2SD you'd to have sdcard mounted on your phone as the file is on your sdcard...

Well you can use titanium backup it'll tell you about app2SD

Don't know whether the correct place to post or not? After install app2SD some apps can't run. I presume these apps can't run on SD card. How to force these apps to install in the phone memory? Thanks.

Use link2sd instead, it is available in android market and it now has an option to transfer dalvik cache to sd. Easier to use, no need to run cmd from a pc. Just partition your sd card and follow the steps. I'd say it's better now because of the dalvik cache transfer option.

I'm using link2sd as well. But I can't install game 20MB++ :mad:

mine shows error "can't open app2sd.sh".... what could be the problem?

i also tried installing it using terminal emulator but it exits after choosing install app2sd and then the terminal emulator disappears from the menu
