Help Can't install new/update old apps

Hey all

I'm having an issue with my S2 and hoped someone may be able to help.

Whenever I try to update old apps or install any new ones I get a message saying that I'm out of space. I understand this but find it hard to believe that this is true. I really don't have (in my opinion) that many apps installed to warrent being out of space. DOes anyone know a reason for this propblem or have a solution for it?

I scanned my phone with JDisk report and this is what it found:

From what I understand app data is stored in the 'Android' folder which is showing up as only having 242.2MB of data in it. Is this really enough to warrent it being full?

Of course there is always the chance I'm being a bit thick and missing something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

There are two partitions. One is about 2GB for the android system and apps, the other is about 8GB as you have shown. I find that when i have about 200MB left in the 2GB partition i can not install anything. You can see how much space you have left in the task manager.
Hope that helps.
