Root cant install the clockwork recovery mod

well guyz for some reason i cant install the recovery thing i can do the first step and when i go to do the second one it wont do it and also i cant see the android 1.0 device thing so plz can some 1 help

Did you download the drivers from the phone when you hooked it up to the pc the first time?

I just checked my computer. It shows up as ADB interface

yes i did and i saw that driver but i click on it to update it like it says but it says its up to date

Well that is the driver that it needs.

Exactly which part are you having problems with? Type in what you've done so far.

i shut off the phone rebooted it by holding down the vol dwn end call and the power button opened the cwm ran fastboot-windows the window flickered real quick like it said was suppose to happened then when i run the install recovery for windows the command window opened and inside it says waiting for device

You may need to reboot to recovery again. Mine did the same, like it just needed to "click"
