Help Can't launch market after "Google Play"

I'm running Liquid 3.2 ROM, and after last nigh, I cannot open the market. When I try, it says "Could not launch the requested activity"

Are you trying to open the market or Google play? Because any shortcuts you have for the market will not work after you upgrade to google play.

I'm running a non-rooted phone and I am having the same issue. Actually my Market app is completely gone and when I go to try to download it online it says the app is not compatible with my device.

I just realized it's now called "Play Store". wtf.

it will update automatically or just go into menu-settings clear data & cache and uninstall updates. then relaunch the market and u will be prompted to update

I am with you it seems so pointless to change the name and the icon but nothing else... but maybe Google knows something I do not
