Starting this week, my phone has been unable to make or receive calls at lunch. The phone shows a couple bars but will never actually connect to a call. When my wife calls, it goes straight to voicemail and I am never notified that I even missed a call. The only way to get it going again is to reboot the phone. This is a rooted stock 2.2 that I have had since Sept 2010 with no real problems prior to this. It almost seems like I am in a poor signal area and lose connection but the antenna never tries to get the connection again (even though it shows a bar or two).
Oh and it has also done the "captivate shutoff" three times last weekend when I had only seen that happen once in the previous 5 months! 
Anyone else experience this problem? Thanks for any tips!
