Root Can't mount USB storage

Well, I've been waiting to flash CM7 and was going to tonight. Have flashed plenty of roms before, I know the routine. I wiped data, yadda, yadda. Went to install my rom and my file was corrupt. So, I'm not stuck only in recovery with no way to put a fresh file onto my phone. I can get into recovery fine, but when I try to mount storage, it's not showing up on my computer. My phone's currently useless, so help ASAP is greatly appreciated. Any idea on how to do this? Tried accessing through ADB and I can't push anything to it either. Not sure what's going on. HELP!!

I wasn't stuck in recovery when it happened to me, but it took several reboots for it to mount. Changed my rom, and haven't had it since.
