Root Cant not dowload picture messages I recieve

I have a htc desire cdma i am rooted s off running cm7.
Now when i recieve a message it gives me the option to download. WHen i press download it will just show downloading and never show the picture. I have tried multiple sms apps.
 
You will need to check your APN settings first. If you google your carriers settings, it should be easily found.
I have had to manually add my MMS settings after flashing a new rom. I believe your carrier uses different "data" between 3g and downloading MMS attachments.
 
Ok, but how would i change my apn setting because when i got to wireless and networks>mobile networks it just shows me the settings: Data enables (which i don't have checked), International data roam (have checked), National data roaming (not checked), and System select (which i have checked to automatic) also the two other choices for system select are home only and affiliated networks.


And harry i tried that and it did nothing, Thanks tho

If you have found the required APN settings to allow MMS through your carrier/network, you need to add it under "Access Point Name" under the settings you described. Click Menu then add a new APN and add the details you've found. I had to do it for myself and I Googled "T-Mobile MMS APN settings" and found the details and simply copied them to my phone and worked. No issues since.

I do not have the option to add a new apn. Even when i press menu in the mobile networks option. But there is a VPN settings which allow me to add a new vpn but no apn.
And i have cellcom and im from the US
 
Cdma is different. You're going to need to speak to some cdma custom Rom users either on xda or in our root forum here....

This thread won't get the attention in this forum
